The Role:

If you are a post discharged and unemployed Armed Forces Veteran, have electrical qualifications and experience and like to work outdoors we have an excellent opportunity for you.

Bright Green Business is working closely with Midlothian Council as part of an Armed Forces Covenant funded project to offer this exciting 11 week placement within the Council to test and set up Christmas Light displays for the festive period.

Period of employment - 01/10/2018 to 14/12/2018

Location of works -  Whitehill industrial estate Dalkeith, although travel throughout Midlothian will form part of the duties (in Council vehicles)

Personal Protective Equipment provided.

Hours:

Mon-Thu 07:30 – 15:45

Fri 07:30 – 12:30

Ideal candidiate:

• Electrically qualified or engineering experienced (REME or Signals would be ideal from my experience )
• Working outdoors >50% of the time
• Work shop repairs to  decorations
• Experience working at heights
• Team work
• Driving licence

Possibility candidate will be given Ipaf platform training
