Rhona won Most Enterprising Green Graduate at the EPP Awards 2017 for her contribution to improving waste management at Edinburgh College. While on placement, she implemented the college’s Waste and Recycling Policy. This was a huge task as the policy needed to be implemented across all four campuses using a uniform message, making the ‘recycling’ message absolutely clear to students, staff and visitors.

Before her placement, Rhona graduated from the University of Stirling with a BSc in Environmental Geography. She is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh while working part-time for Edinburgh College.
